Chapter 1: In the Beginning

Since the dawning of time there has been life, not life as we know of now, but life with countless creatures and planets.

Here is how life was created and how the dawning of the planet Arcarius came to be:

For a time, everything was black. No-one knows how it happened, but there was a disturbance somewhere amongst the darkness. some say that the disturbance was the first black hole and how the gods seeped through it, to create life. Others believe it was magic.

But then it happened... So quickly the common mind wouldn’t have comprehended what had happened.

There was a light! The light had came out of the distance, and from it, slowly the seven gods emerged. The Goddesses of Earth and Magic, followed by God's of Death and Darkness, Fire, of Life, and of the Clouds.

The Goddess of Earth began creating planets, and asteroids. Afterwards, to make the universe complete she created the mountains and caves on them.

The God of Death in envy created disease and famine on some planets like the unfortunate planets Edecheos and Foruanda.

The Sun God, known now as the God of Fire created the Sun, which produced light and the ability to burn things.

The God of Life or God of Hope created the life on the countless planets.

The Goddess of Water showered water onto the planets giving the creatures the ability to douse fires.

The Goddess of Magic in time, created the magic to keep the worlds alive, which was followed by the ability to harness the magic in time of need.

Lastly, the God of the Clouds, created the sky and the clouds, and created the powerful weather patterns on all the planets.

Chapter 2: The New Planet

The gods formed many galaxies. Yet, they knew something was missing... A number of the planets could not sustain life because they were to distant from any source of light. Not to mention, most carried plagues.

So, the Gods came together and thought of a planet to create. It was to be close enough to a sun without being to hot for life.

The God's named the planet Vilganda and then invented the life on the planet. They formed trees, rocks and everything to make a planet a complete one; including creatures, the first of any ever created in the universe.

The Vilganda. Named after the planet, the Vilganda were sought of a mer-like-people, except had the ability to travel across land.

These first creations lived on for many years to come and were thought to be perfect, until...

Chapter 3: Vilganda Civil War

While the Vilganda were hard at work building their underwater cities, their population was growing rapidly. To the God's, it seemed nothing would go wrong with their first creation.

Years flew by, and the Vilganda had a massively large population. The shear numbers of Vilganda had started to cause problems. Because there were so many of them, there were disagreements everywhere. Often these disagreements led to violence.

However, this was only the start of all the conflict between the Vilganda, which were an imperfect race. They didn’t have great intelligence, they were not immortal, nor very warlike.

Three years later the population had nearly doubled! Most of the Vilganda were now separated from each other, not living in one main city, but living in separate encampments or towns. That had caused even more violence.

Towns would fight against each other, and some Vilganda even murdered each other because of these petty disagreements.

It wasn’t until the race decided that they needed a leader and some law enforcement before the violence really started to heat up.

A leader was finally decided around a year later when the population had increased by a sixth of what it was.

His name was Gilvendi, yet half of the Vilganda disagreed with the idea of being led.

A war was about to break out between the Vilgandians.

Three months after the war, the Vilgandians who didn’t want a leader - now know as the Ryenda tribe - were pushed back to a place called: Fort Frahgna which mean't Free People.

They knew the only hope of survival was to surrender, as much as they knew it was the only way to survive, they couldn’t do it. So they ran from war and hid on the most unlikely place they would be looked for, that was land.

Eventually the Ryenda tribe decided to build a city. The Ryenda knew they could never face the Vilgandi under the sea, now known as the Kagnadi, or, underwater monsters. Soon the Vilgandians of the Ryenda tribe began to grow legs and lose their tails. They also lived for unnaturally long lives, years longer than their underwater counterparts.

The Ryenda also noticed that they could no longer breathe underwater but could only hold their breath for a few hours.

They were no longer mer people...
