The Captian

Here's my very first skin, second texture I've ever made. I want to kinda add some designs and stuff but I need your feedback. I also need your help in telling me the path for the Captian skin.

Path: Units\Human\TheCaptain\TheCaptain.blp

The only freehand I see on this is those little yellow stripes on his boots. I don't image they'll look great either, unless you're at step 1 of turning the Captain into an olympic runner in one of those blue rubber suits.

Actually all the blue shading is done free hand. I don't know any other way. And I need help with designs cause I don't know what to put.

Well, you're going to need to get more creative than that. You didn't even get creative with the shading. It's pretty much the same thing, but weaker.

Well, Im still gathering idea's for the armour.

Try something like dragon scale armor

The golden bits could do well white, especially if you give it a roman-esque appearance. White & Light Blue look great with those designs.

change the symbol on his chest, add chainmail, ge tyourself a tribal from somewhere and paint it all over the metal and shade it as if it was some metal plating...
and try to get rid of the same exact outlines as the norml captain, otherwise he will look just like a recolor!

Im gonna make the gold white to make him look more roman.

Try adding a different design to the armor, instead of just plain recoloring everything.
