How can I find The Sapphire Necklace? he is among chapter 8 and 9, is that possible? If this is right,I don't no what I will do to encounter(I can use flame strake at the trees of chapter 8,or use my patient in chapter 9;but if this is incorrect,he must be at the chapter 10,or no.I don't no,this game is making me crazy about this rare item and the mindstaff(which I have with me now).:goblin_jawdrop::vw_death::ogre_rage:)

Great campaign. Playing this once more for the legendary items.

Can anyone tell me how to get to the left magic case in Chapter 5? Only helicopter can reach it but I can not transport to air units. And I don't have blink capability. I found a switch behind the gate but it is immune to attack. Wasting hours to get the item in that case...

Thanks a lot!

You will unlock the path to the case by destroying a nearby lever (though not the invulnerable one behind the last gate).

Hi Guys,

Since I like the Alliance, this is the "Best" of all the campaigns (Of course the other three are also superb). Commanding the Vast armies of the alliance is cool, isn't it? Thanks a lot Turnro.

I've always asking myself : What exactly did happened to Uther, Why would he allied himself to the NighElves anyways, cuz from the point of view, Uther isn't that way, So, I rather would see Uther giving instruction to Rowan in the first mission, and Buzan could play Uther's role.

As a twisted plot campaign, I don't mind it though.
It's pretty HILARIOUS :D

Stuck at hard chapter

Guys, I'm having a fever completing missions on hard after chapter 6. Other chapters are just impossible to beat...

Seriously, guys. On chapter 7, Sylvanas' Drain ability is giving me a headache. It's just too OP. Also, whenever I try to dispell Curse from my units, Priests get killed easly by Sylvanas and Meat Wagons. I've saved a Spell Book from chapter 6, but that's not good enough to stop the invisible army of the Scourge. For me, this chapter is the most frustrating of all.

Chapter 8 is a bit easier. Even though there's no undead hero to fight against (Anub'arak doesn't attack the base), having the Scourge units to deal with, who have increased attack damage and armor, doesn't seem like a big deal.

At last, I don't even wanna think about playing Chapter 10 on hard, since there are 5 enemy bases to deal with. Every base has a hero + enemy units have increased attack damage and armor upgraded to max!

Can somebody give me few ideas how to pass these chapters? Thanks in advice. :)

My advice could be a little outdated, but this is what I did:

- On Chapter 7, I had to resort to doing a sneak attack, and destroy Sylvanas's base as she was destroying mine (Found her the hardest hero to deal with along with Arthas).
- Chapter 8 was sending 100-supply armies one after another, until an opening could be obtained...
- Chapter 10 was ironically one of the easiest (Dunno now, but it was then). This lies on the fact Sylvanas only attacks once in the entire mission, so you can send Logan to cheese towers with Flamestrike (While Banished, to avoid attracting enemies) with next to no problems. Once you free the elves from Mal'ganis and Sylvanas you can deal with Anub'arak (Which is very easy to defend against, as a few Siege Tanks demolish his flying armies). Then, a three-way 300-supply attack against Arthas.

yeah, chapter 7 is really a pain in the ass if you try to win the level in a straight up fight. i was waiting until sylvanas attacked my expo in the north east and started my own attack from the west and got her production down before she returned.

i wrote down my army composition for level 10 early in this thread, which also involved a sneaky siege tank attack on the frozen throne. i find it tricky to engage the final fight though, so make sure you save before trying.

The Sapphire Necklace

The Sapphire Necklace do not exist!!:goblin_wtf:
Besides not appear in the game in its correct location, the Blessed Crown of Kings It is in place of the Sapphire Necklace! And in the last phase have nothing! In addition to other items are out of order! See if there are other errors in items like these!

It's difficult to know what is causing this to happen, so I'll need to ask you some questions:

- Have you tried downloading and playing other custom campaigns found on the Hive?
- What patch version of Warcraft 3 do you have?
- Are you playing the game on Windows or Mac?
- Were there any errors that occurred when downloading the file? If yes, then re-downloading it again could be an option

Have you played The Adventures of Rowan the Wise before and found all the legendary items?

If the answer is no, then it is worth noting that the Sapphire Necklace can be found in a secret area in Chapter 8. Also, there are no legendary items in Chapter 10.

Okay, so all items are in their respective places, and there is no longer any problem? Having the possibility to have two items in a phase or a phase having any?

I'd like to report the same issue; my version is 1.26, using it on windows 8.1.
Downloaded and playes several other custom campaigns hosted here, most work, and others will be like this one.
"Just another Warcraft III map" message on a black screen with an exit button is all I get :(

Not sure what's causing it or where to begin to fix it and this campaign isn't the only one so I'm assuming the problem is on my/our side...:vw_death:

Yes, there are two legendary items in Chapter 8 to compensate that Chapter 10 has none.

Are the campaigns that haven't worked for you all large files sizes (eg. 150mb+)?

I have had other people report a similar issue, but it eventually worked for them after ages of re-downloading the files. What I'll do is download some campaigns from Hive and test them myself to see if they work.

Could be but I haven't been paying attention to file size.. Though I did download your rise of the scourge one and it works.
I tried to google for and answer but there are almost no topics about it, while the ones I found aren't helpful :/

Edit: Curse of the Forsaken and Rise of the Blood elves both work for me

Edit 2: Hah! What I found is weird... I downloaded the file 3 times and each time the file size was different! I guess I'll just do what, as you say, other people did and re-download it until it works :p

Edit 3: Oh god the problem is, I can't download it in full. The download always stops at around 40+ MB... Must see what causes this

I have just tested downloading The Adventures of Rowan the Wise and here is what happened:

- First try: File only partially downloaded
- Second try: Worked fine

In my first attempt, I was downloading another campaign file at the same time, though I am not sure if this could be a factor. Either way, I'll let Ralle know about this.

EDIT
The problem is in Google Chrome!
Use Mozilla Firefox and it will download nice and fully. Simple as that! :D
Well at least it worked for me, so if someone has the problem as well, can't hurt to try it this way :)

I've read that some browsers have an option or addon to enable resuming partial downloads. Mozilla should have it, Crome doesn't.

I don't remember if chapter 8 is where Rowan and Nathan were trying to find the steel engine but I think I remember I've seen that item just behind a frozen gate where you'll be attacked by a group of nerubien behind that gate, you'll find the necklace just behind that gate hidded between the trees.

You will find the Sapphire Necklace in a hidden location near the start of the mission.

This campaign rocks! I've played through it on Hard and not only was it not frustrating (I hate to play on Hard usually), it was so fun I'd play through it again just to try other strategies!
I loved the story and the attacks of humor which don't really break the immersion, loved all the heroes and so on..
I'd pick a favorite hero but it's impossible to decide.
Found almost all the uber items, too. Hard to say what I like the most, probably heroes; finnaly a campaign where heroes pack a serious punch.
There were some hilarious moments where I laughed at 3am and among those, the bizzare voiced dwarf takes the cake! He and his EXxxpeditions.
Talking about funny things, what's up with Uther? At first thought the campaign is utterly serious, and just after the uther mission, I realized what crazy stuff was going on during it, lol. The most dangerous case of dementia in old age I've ever seen. I always appreciate good humor, it does relieve the tension of playing it on hard.

Thank you for such an enjoyable campaign.

Edit: I'm trying to rate it 5/5 but below my post it shows only 4 thumbs up o_O

Hey sshadowss5,

Did the quest log update for you when you defeated the draenei? If not, there will still be a building or unit somewhere that you will need to dispose of. It could be a draenei caster who is shadow-meld somewhere where the base once stood.

Hey,I think that this chapter that you are talking about it's the chapter 9,so the item that you are talking about it's a anti magic necklace which you can take with the pumps of the mortal team, which will destroy the trees,so you will can pick the item.
But anyway, thank you

Hi there, i´m jut playing the chapter 3 and I dont find the legendary item in no place. Do the disgusting blademaster have it? It dont dropp it, if is like that.

Thankx _:))

Hi Rankor,

The legendary item in Chapter 3 is actually not in an obvious place, even if you use the 'iseedeadpeople' cheat. It is dropped by an ogre lord who appears near the ogre campsites.

Hi, Turnro!
You did a truly wonderful job making this campaign. Thank you very much. It gave me many long hours of joy. The gameplay is excellent. I rate it 5 of 5 regarding gameplay.

I have just finished the campaign on hard difficulty. It leaves an impression of a real accomplishment.

What can I say - it was fascinating to find that many things that seemed impossible at first glance finally proved possible and even sometimes easy when the right approach was found. ('easy' don't apply to all cases though. In fact, far from it. Especially chapters 5,7 and 10 were incredibly hard even with an approach which granted me eventual success. Well, on the other hand, there is always a possibility of a better strategy, which I haven't found).

Now, about the plot. It's complicated. I will be first to admit that I prefer serious stuff and humorous campaigns are not my cup of tea.
I understand that other people may like other things. But still. Usually an author chooses a certain style, genre for his storytelling. And then sticks to it. Now, your first chapter is a promise for serious epic narrative. But what do we see later? Humor is not a bad thing. But when in a presumably serious story not only minor conversations contain humor, but major plot points are dependent on crazy things - it is no good. After that you no longer know if anything can be taken seriously - and this ruins the epic feel. First of all I am speaking about 2nd chapter. The meeting of night elves and Uther doesn't make sense at all. And draenei idiots, seriously?

I understand that this is alternate universe but why are you using recognizable characters if you override their personalities completely? Someone already mentioned it in previous comments and I agree. You need a chicken madman - why Uther? You need a scoundrel and betrayer - why Antonidas? Those are important goodly characters, we like them that way. Good AU fanfiction is where all the characters are the same but several key decisions are made another way. And with your Uther and Antonidas we are in the whole another coordinate system.

The voice acting is great! It really helps to built the mood. The voices are excellent, except ,maybe, Tara. Not that the actress did a bad job, but for some reason I can't imagine Tara speaking with this particular voice. It's sounds somehow too childish for her.

Campaign is very good as it is, but I think it can be a true masterpiece if you remake in serious manner:
-meeting with night elves
-meeting with draenei
-replace Uther

Now I rate 4/5 regarding the plot.

And having finished the campaign on hard, I am eager to share some tips and strategies with players who get stuck.

WARNING SPOILERS

General advices:

- find all legendary items, they are extremely helpful in later chapters. Chapters 1-7,9 have 1 item, chapter 8 - two.
- Choose carefully, which hero to provide with which items. With my choices Rowan, though he did not pack the best punch, became the most durable of all heroes. Also, he was invulnerable to magic and had a spell book. So, his abilities to heal, remove charms and silence enemy heroes worked always - and everywhere on the map (teleporting with Tara)
- Don't divide heroes unless absolutely necessary - they work great in combos (especially Rowan+Tara, Rowan+Logan)
- The wise choice for our wise hero is to spend skill points at Devoton aura first, then Holy light and only then Divine shield.
With another choices, defence in chap 5 and battle with Arthas in chap 7 will be a nightmare.

Chapter 3:
- the AI will not rebuild and has no altar - so the losses in buildings and hero are permanent. Elven allies will attack many times. So the key to success is not to try to win in single push, but to attack and retreat many times.

Chapter 4:
- You can win without defeating the undead base, which is extremely hard with lack of gold and without siege weapons. But you really need the Swiftwalker boots. They drop when you destroy undead necropolis. So you can launch a single suicidal attack with all forces, destroy only the necropolis, aquire the boots and run for your life.

Chapter 5:
- Very good idea is to build concentrated array of towers near the main gate. To do so, you must destroy the trees. Unfortunately, only workers can do that in this mission by collecting wood. To be in time with towers, you must start collecting the wood here almost immediately in the start of the game.
- Use gyrocopter to make access to the magic box
- Spend Tara's skill points to blizzard and make sure she does blizzard every second when the enemy is approaching

Personally I think that it's the hardest mission of them all. (maybe after chap 10). Do not hesitate to save game every second.

Chapter 6:
- make sure that you have visited and investigated every inch of the map. Even if you think that you have seen everything. Just double-check.
- the draenei are surprisingly stout and hard to defeat in a straightforward manner. But here is the trick: goblin market has invisibility potion. Let us give it to Rowan, who can then go all the way to the draenei main hall unnoticed. Then teleport Tara and all the army to Rowan. Hit and run. With the main hall gone we can call it a victory. There is a catch however: the hall repairs itself nearly instantaneously after taking damage. But at some point the repair ends. My guess is they run out of money. In my case it happened after 3 round of blizzard.

Chapter 7:
- Survival on start:
Scouting is the key. Always know about an incoming attack and prepare. Don't purchase melee units, easily converted by Sylvanas.
A host of archers + bunch of healers and sorceresses do the deal. Don't divide heroes - see remark above. Position your army in such way that you will be in time to defend all gold mines.

- Attack:
the AI has large army, rebuilds all buildings and seems to have endless money. So to start to cause permanent losses to the undead we can do this: launch single massive attack (probably suicidal for the heroes), destroy the necropolis and kill all the acolytes. In the second push destroy the altar, if it survived the first attack. If we succeeded in doing all of this, we can call it a victory, even if we have 2 heroes, no army and no money.

Chapter 8:
- Survival on start:
Don't expand untill you researched all the map and acquired all valuable items.
At first it looked like a good idea to build towers near the bottleneck where is the entrance to the undead base and leave some troops here. After that you could safely expand and research the map - heroes would return to the bottleneck to aid the defence if needed.
But the idea is bad because for some reason, when the AI sees you near the bottleneck, it starts to attack you continuously with tremendous amount of troops. The is no win here.
Build anything near the bottleneck only when you are ready to fight till the end.

-Attack:
The AI has incredible production rate, but doesn't rebuild (it didn't in my case). so we are to fight continuous battle, coming forth to raze 1-2 buildings and falling back to the safety of towers. This can only work out, if we don't suffer severe losses and for that to happen it's a good idea to do all the raids to raze buildings by heroes only.

Chapter 9:
Almost all the fighting can be done by the heroes. Save the units for major battles in the end.

Chapter 10:
-Survival on start:
Careful assignment of the hotkeys makes for a great advantage. The undead waves will come to different bases almost simultaneously. Because of that you must not only be able to defeat this waves but to defeat them quickly. This requires teleporting. I suggest this scheme:
- heroes teleport without army to avoid losses and complications.
- Rowan and Tara aid both dwarves and elves, when they are attacked
- elves aid humans - but only when Arthas and Kel'Thuzed both come, other attacks can be warded off by humans only.
- dwarves don't teleport, they only defend their base: this is because they have less gold than elves in the mine, only one hero and only they are able to produrce siege tanks.

-Attack:
Your first victory should be over the orange and it should be quick victory for two reasons:
-elves and dwarves are in dire need of the gold mines which orange possesses.
-at some point in time green, brown and violet will attack simultaneously. This attack is devastating and it can be lethal if the orange still lives and provides support.
The towers near the entrances can be destroyed by Logan and Tara in advance. The perfect timing for the attack is when Arthas and Kelthuzed are both defeated at human base by combined effort of humans and elves. Then both elves and humans attack orange from elven side. Dwarves are defending heavily fortified base from brown. Humans are defenceless, but nobody attacks them.
When elves get the upper hand, Tara teleports to dwarves who start to attack the western orange.

Battle with violet is brutal but can be won straightforwardly.

-Frozen Throne:
Can't be won by brute force approach.
Here are the tips:
Who can deal most damage to the Throne?
-Nathan the Mighty, siege weapons, phoenix
-Everyone who can attack avoiding tricky way to the throne: hosts of birds, Tara's human forces under teleport
Use this forces against the throne.
In order to get the tanks to the Throne, you should get rid of the undead heroes, who guard it. They resurrect, so the best way of dealing with them is not to kill but to lead them away to the other sleeve of the road to the Throne. Keep them away, alive (undead, oh irony) and busy. Forces under Rowan, Bevan and Logan and towers are up to the task.

Hope, this is helpful.

Hey, Turnro! It is interesting to hear your opinion on my findings. Did I say something new or were all that strategies thought of when you was creating the campaign?

Once again thank you for this beautiful campaign.

Hey, Turnro! It is interesting to hear your opinion on my findings. Did I say something new or were all that strategies thought of when you was creating the campaign?

Once again thank you for this beautiful campaign.

It is interesting that you bought potions of invisibility when attacking the draenei. I didn't even think of that. I was aware of a lot of these strategies when making the campaign, but there are a few that I have seen by other people. Particularly distracting the heroes when attacking the Frozen Throne, but I suppose it doesn't hurt to leave it as it is.

Overall, I'm happy to hear you enjoyed playing The Adventures of Rowan the Wise :)

Congratulations, Turnro! Your campaign(s) is so popular, there are comments here from this week! :D Outstanding.
I remembered, that you helped me in the past. I finished your first campaign, I will write an objective, logic-centered review. Interesting parts marked with purple.

First, I quote this comment about the nature of the fan-fiction:

This looks to me to be an alternate warcraft story(there sure are a lot of THOSE) where horde never took off to Kalimdor. Although I question if he filled in all the plotholes resulting from making such a "seemingly simple yet so complicated" change in the storyline(if the horde never went to kalimdor several things have to be accounted for that are now ripped out and replaced, think of history like a pool of ripples. Take out one small detail and you remove everything that is related to that event. With the orcs never leaving Kalimdor, that's a BIG ripple, as everything in the third war is based on that event transpiring. I know this may be a little complicated but I want you to understand when time is changed how complicated things become. In my guess you probably didn't fill in every plothole.
Plot review use the quoted method.

I saw "ripples" many times here, they are horrific, mostly when I saw/played substandard maps. I can tell for the people, if the forumreaders will not accept the review, I will surely not begin to create a new campaign. So leave the old make better responses, because that is so irrelevant. Waiters surely not tell this to the guests, when they have real problems with the food or the drink, but I can say this for all product.

I begin with the gameplay:
Map 1: This is easy... bandits are easy to defeat. I quickly collected the skills from that cool little pool from Strahnbrad maybe? Later, when younger Rowan collects more power, he will take his first challenge. I successfully completed the quest by defeat the orc base.
IP: 1. This is anime/eastern cliché - End of the training, the apprentice went to his quest. Not a too big deal, just a mention.

Map 2: I will write for this more in the plot section: Second map is about to build a base for Prince Arthas. 7 minutes is barely enough to build buildings and upgrade the center building (Town Center). Later I found the chicken Uther and I deal with him with relative ease. I do not listen to the night elves too much, however I claimed the box items.

Map 3: This is a hard map. I went to the high elf base, then there I followed the way to the second one. Here I met with Bevan. He is an useful hero, because of his mass-healing spell. His other spells are not so useful like the heal spell. His ultimate the arrow shot is however useful. I was able to deal damage to the necromancers and the banshees with this arrow shot. The green undead base are hard to destroy.

Map 4: This map is easy, I just met with the dwarves and head to save the 20 high elf in Silvermoon. I however appreciate the original-esque Silvermoon, I found weird the WOW Silvermoon and found horrific to the substandard map Silvermoons. I fought here many undeads, Bevan's heal ability come in handy. I completed this map.

Map 5 - Here I receive a Jaina copy... :( Why you not use a skin at least? There are so many Jaina skin. Otherwise her abilities was useful, at least. The Frost Bolt saved the hero from the death some time, so I needed to ressurect them fewer times. In this map I barely used Ivory Towers. I trained Knights and Gyrocopters... anyway Knights was the most useful units in the early maps. Here, they saved me again. I able to hold off the Undead. I failed in the optional quest, in the plot part I will mention that quest as an attempt and not reveal anything.

Map 6 - Hard mission, I barely fought my way through those revenants and skeletal creatures. In the end of the road, I saw goblins. With the goblins I needed to assault the draenei base? Well that was extra hard, their boulder towers and salamanders nearly killed the heroes... but I defeated them in the very end.

Map 7 (playable 7th) - In this map I needed to deal the demon summoner Kel'Thuzad first. What happened his voice? This voice recordings are somewhere interesting, but look like a 80's European film with that "narrative" sound. When I storm through the gate and quickly kill Kel'Thuzad, a video-game style fight begun between Arthas and Rowan. Why?
IP2: This idea stole the uniqueness... looks like I am playing again 312321312th RPG, where the boss send the mobs first and he only show up to a brief.
Later Arthas left him and Rowan met with the Kael copy-replacement, called Logan. It is really necessary? Well by using the high elf units, I able to clear the orange base.

Playable 8th Map - How I supposed to do this? Answer: Run through bases. Even if Rowan and Nathan
(Creepy voiced dwarf, totally not early Muradin copy, only joke :D ) means a considerable force, six units are not able to defeat two large bases, so I ran through them. I reached the grey base and begun to prepare to defeat the enemy, that was not too hard.

Playable 9th Map - This map is grrrr... hard! I need to save it sometimes in order to prepare myself to reload it. How a few unit can destroy a large bases, even if the heroes are super-powa strong. Well... I successfully entered the Labyrinth, there there are easy puzzles, nerubians await me. I found the Steam Tanks and later I reached to the Round One mission, I planned to avoid, that trap, but I accidentally controlled Rowan to there and now then I defeated 45 enemy. In there Nathan nearly died 46 times. I however make my way to the end, in there the Faceless Overlord was a real challenge.

LAST MAP - FROZEN THRONE :O This is what? First time I thought it was a joke, but not... Rowan collected the alliance AND THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SCENE OF THE CAMPAIGN, he united them. I not able to make that scene in that quality. When everybody used the victory animation, that is heartwarming with the speech and the music. I will write it and more to the plot part. This map is hard, really... really hard. Or I use soft words? It was really-frenetically hard. I controlled three bases, I felt that the humans are somewhat mined the gold with lower speed, while the dwarves mining like hell. Well... I always lead attack from the three sides, but I broke the gate from the right side. However Sylvanas and Mal'Ganis o_O (Why he appears?)attacks Later, Rowan and the heroes deal with Ner'Zhul personally. This ends the gameplay part.

Gameplay overall: Both easy and hard, seems like blizzlike in some part. What can I say?Voices are both:
(And know it, I am personally favorize floating text and other subtitles, BUT I NOT REJECT THIS VOICES, because this is the best fan-voice collection, that I ever heard)
- Ancient narrative themed from the 70-80's (Footman, Rowan and wizards)
- Robotlike (Orcs)
- Schwarzenegger-esque (Lord Nicholas Buzan)
- Unfit (Arthas and Kel'Thuzad)
- Fit (Tara, if she is a young, creepy voiced girl) (Lord Nicholas is fit for his voice, also Bevan and Logan had a fair sound.)
- Unbelievable (Mal'Ganis, Nathan)

Here comes the plot (with theories marked with orange):
We are in Strahnbrad, our younger Rowan wants to be a retribution paladin. Or a simple paladin... he met with Lord Nicholas, a possible leader of the Silver Hand. He sent him to the cool sunshine-well to learn skills, which needed him to become a paladin.
He met bandits beside the cathedral.

1. Plot Question: It is really necessary to use the bandits-attacked cliché, always in the first map or the first quest?
Well... his training is finished and became a paladin by defeating the local orcs, which terrorize the land.
Second map opened with years later in the "present" of the Reign of Chaos. Rowan currently living a small town somewhere, I do not remember. One of his men told him, that Terenas II sent Arthas with a message and the town have to prepare to his arrival.

1. Plot Hole Question: Why the Prince personally arrives? Even the message is so important, this is the utter form of the gasconade, where the King send his son with the message instead of any courier. In a later map they sent courier, then I migth ask this: Now the prince receive a free day and not the courier?
Arthas arrived to the town, okay.
We will know, that Rowan is a really-famous one. A second-in-command in the Silver Hand maybe. It is possible, that he worked under the tutelage of Nicholas Buzan.
IP3: Lord Nicholas Buzan is never used in the original game, this was a very good idea to use him.
The possible death of Buzan carries his rise amongst the ranks, maybe. Well the Prince told him, that Uther went mad, because of night elves. What? Are you serious?
2. Plot Question: Why Maiev comes to the Humanlands? Why she act like a bored rich teenager? What is Tyrande's ultimate goal? Why Maiev sounded like an english girl chav?
Why Uther went mad? Arthas tell the truth? Not really... although the night elves are still there with their boxes. Uther transformed to a chicken to hide? This is untraceable, but not really...
It is possible, that Rowan or someone else may contributed with Uther's state, by poisons or magic. That is also a weird, that Rowan accepts too fast the murder of Uther! THEY NOT EVEN TALK ABOUT THE HEALING OF UTHER IN A SMALL SENTENCE. Somebody wants to push Uther the Lightbringer off for good reason. Weirdly Rowan swiftly accepts the hunt for Uther and kill a dozens of chicken to reveal Uther and later finish with the famous paladin, without remorse or any second-thought. Rowan had a part of a coup against Uther, as well as Arthas.
Later, many days later Rowan now possibly the main commander in the Silver Hand.
You worked your way! It is also possible, that Rowan push aside Dagren the Orcslayer and the other paladins. Rowan arrived to Quel'Thalas and make his way to their villages, where he met with Bevan, a young high elf. Bevan not able to convince the local captain about the danger.
3. This is a typical commoner not able to convince the sheriff scene, although the trope is introduced with other races. The Captain needs only walk a bit too see himself the undead. This part is a bit silly, because of this.
In fourth map, Bevan reached his beloved capital and wants to save the trapped villagers. He met with dwarves on the way and they helped him about his route. I not complete their side quests so let skip it, Bevan fought against the undead and successfully saved twenty citizen. In the Sunwell, he is trapped by Arthas and taken away.

2. Plot Hole Question: Why Arthas not killed Mal'Ganis, why they showed us like a comic-relief company?
Rowan return back to Dalaran in order to aid the wizards against the undead. Here are a beautiful blonde sorceress Tara showed up... I lied! She is ugly, boring and have a creepy chav voice. I imagine her like this: https://www.google.hu/search?q=chav+girl&espv=2&biw=1280&bih=923&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiI68_hpPrNAhUJahoKHdkhBdMQ_AUIBigB#imgrc=Ltny6UwZXIXNrM: Antonidas here are a a bigger "cu-nt" than the original game. He do not try to protect his city with the outstanding aura, just summon a portal. Rowan and Tara, aside from their personalities.... protect Dalaran and make an attempt to evacuate the citizens. In the end, Rowan better side showed up, he rejects Antonidas's coward attitude. You know Turnro, a story has an actual message, which you want to told and an indirect one. It seems indirectly you made Rowan irate, wrathful to the current ruling persons. I read amongst the lines, that he not saw them worthy and want to overthrow them. Although he let Antonidas and his mages to escape. Tara not showed any sign of suprise. They entered to the tunnels of Dalaran, while Antonidas reach a new level in prickness. He commit treason against his pupils.
3. Plot Question: Why they not kill Antonidas? He simply push them to Scourge. Antonidas entered to Hellfire Peninsula or Blade's Edge Mountains. There he met with Arthas and he deal with the traitor mage. This is a calculable event.
In the tunnels of Dalaran, which is look like a Heroes: Might and Magic underworld, they met with goblins. Their leader Tek agreed to help him in exchange of kill all Draenei (Broken).

3. Plot Hole Question: How Draenei entered the Dalaran tunnels without any sign of trouble? Aside from Goblins, no one knows, that they build a complete village with powerful towers. Where they come from to Azeroth? Magtheridon or Kil'Jaeden know about this? Akama is look like a comic villain... :-/
Well... in the end, the goblins and Rowan defeat the Draenei with ease. Tara and our paladin escaped from Dalaran.

In the following map, Rowan overhear a dialogue between Kel'Thuzad and Arthas. Here one logical folly is happened.
- Why Kel'Thuzad is a ghost? After Sunwell event he became a lich, that is why the well became corrupted.
Rowan interrupts a summoning of someone, it is not Archimonde. He needed to summon before the fall of Dalaran. Possible a nearly strong one. In this map he met with Logan, who claims himself as the leader of the blood elves. Where is Prince Kael'thas and Lor'themar Theron? Logan also an usurper? It seems two conspirator meets in the times of danger. The elves sees this Logan as leader. Logan takes Kael's role in the campaign. It possible and maybe useful that he taken up leadership and possibly kill those people. We know that Kael take the blood elves to nothing and Lor'themar Theron joined to Horde. So it is a fair change, this leader seems to be far more loyal to the Alliance. Where is Garithos anyway? How he accept Logan?
Logan defeat the undeads and he and Rowan simply take off the majority of the Alliance to hunt the dead. Did the king know this?
The Silver Hand simply risks so many life in a dangerous, unpredictable mission. Well no one care about this complex things.
What about Rowan's wisdom? He is not wise, just a paladin with nuts and tremendous bravado. He himself led an assault to the North. In the North he met with dwarves and by their help... he defeated the undead. As far as I remember the majority of the Silver Hand late from the assault, so Rowan technically led the vanguard. He arrived to Northrend and met with Nathan, he is a comic-relief version of Muradin. He only have a small men and Rowan also did not carry a proper army with himself, yet they break through the undeads and reach the dwarf base. Rowan and Nathan defeated the Undeads there.
4. Plot Question or not... this is a rhetorical question and statement both. Why the enemy so stupid? This is a plot hole technically instead of "r.q and statement": I mean why the scourge not kill Rowan in his dream or anything else? They just wait them to kill everyone or sometimes send a small raid party. Or why they not bombard them or use a suprise attack?
After this, they went to found the steam tanks, the empty labyrinth was not empty... and was not labyrinth at all, just a building. With so many nerubiam, faceless and step trigger. The heroes move through the labyrinth... they became slaughter-machines. After kill the Faceless Overlord, the group reached the exit.
4. Plot Hole Question: Why they not carry with them at least a small squadron to defeat the base? In plot perspective, they are nearly doomed... few men attacked base. But for sake the fandom, they reached their victory.
Rowan later make a good speech with good animations, my handfur became cold when I saw that. The best scene in the campaign. Rowan here show his skills at politics, he unite the people, AS TERENAS, ARTHAS, UTHER, GARITHOS, VARIAN WYRNN COULD NOT. He is maybe not wise, but a very brave man with a lot of low-cunning, if we saw it in that perspective, that he wants to be king, the plot become more clear. He collected the forces of the Alliance! With the Alliance, he attacked the early-constructed Icecrown Citadel and defeat the undeads. Kill Ner'Zhul and all of his lackeys. Killed Arthas, Kel'Thuzad and all the others. This is a fool, yet outstanding end, here comes the 5th and more plot questions and statements with logical outcomes. (I can understand, if the sequels will not use the proper logical way)
5th and more:
- Did he defeat the Scourge? What Archimonde and the Legion doing? What are they doing? They just left them away? Are they retards?
- Where is Kael, Lor'Themar? They are really killed or captured by Logan?
- What will the Legion doing? Ner'Zhul is died and the plan to destroy the World Tree is now interrupted.
- Daelin Proudmoore or Rowan killed Terenas in the end? It is nearly obvious that you make directly or indirectly an usurp plotline. Rowan killed Uther, without the thinking of somehow cure him from madness. Even is he was dangerous, there are surely ways to heal him.
- The Rowan supporters are exist? Like Daelin and some others?
- Why it is so necessary the chase Nathan in the end, why the others do nothing then?
- Why Tara remembers Felicity Smoak?
- Garithos will be racist under the control Rowan, the First?
- Why the Scourge move to swiftly to North? What happened with the Legion?

Currently I have no more questions.

Rating: 4/5 (But this rating should be 4,9 and not 4,0)
Story is good, somewhere bad and great. It have a lot of plot holes and unanswered questions.
Music is average, but the anime-theme in the early maps is an uncommon and great choice.
Terrain is "plain and blizzlike".

I will start Jeopardy for Horde.

Running into a bug sort of. Ogre Lord is missing in Chapter 3 for some reason. I cannot obtain the Legendary item. Is there anything I can do?

Edit: Nvm, I finally got him to spawn.

Edit 2: Anyone know where to find Legendary in 5th map? Any hints? Life of me I can't figure out what the hell is even happening half the time in that map. It's really frustrating in general.

You will find the legendary item inside a magic box. This box is isolated at the start of the game, but a bridge to it will appear if its hidden elver is switched.

great campaign :) my rate is 10/10
but why some cinematics are auto skipable?

All cinematics in The Adventures of Rowan the Wise can be skipped, if that is what you meant.

This campaign easily deserves 5/5 if not for the unnecessarily difficulty it has (do i write this right?)
I've played the first 5 chapters and only the first map is hard. The rest is between hard and unnecessarily hard. Unnecessarily hard does not mean that it is hard and let explain why i only gave 4/5 stars (which makes me feel really guilty considering the effort you've put for this)

Hard is when you play chess against a very smart AI.
Unnecessarily hard means that it is actually easy but becomes very difficult because the odds are stacked against you.
For example, the second map which you can only rely on knights whereas the enemy has melee, range, and siege units.
The third map was actually very easy if you use Bevan for hit and run.

The fourth map is when things went from unnecessarily hard to unnecessarily frustrating.
No siege weapons means that launching a siege on a base where the acolytes are resummoning buildings without spending any resources is a real chore. Now this is what happens : i killed all my workers after depleting my gold mine and go with 100 army.
Now if one goes with 100 army and fail that can only means lack of skills or wrong units, like going an all archer versus footmen - which is what actually happens : I cannot counter the meat wagons and necromancer combo.

It's amusing how devastating two unit types can be if you have no counter to it.
Riflemen? Doesn't work. Cripple + skellies = bye.
Priests dispel? Meat wagons will made mincemeat of them. Not to mention that my casters are capped at adept while the enemy has casters at master which is GGkthxbye because again i have neither siege weapons nor crowd control to counter the necros.
The only thing that i can rely on is sadly, gyrocopters to bomb the meat wagons. Yes you read it correctly. Gyrocopters. And you know what beats gyrocopters? Yes you guessed it already. Crypt fiends. And because i can't polymorph the damn thing (lol) all i can do is build like 4 gyrocopters for every meat wagon the enemy has and save/reload because if my priests are dead i have no chance of winning at all - the enemy necros will just spawn skellies indefinitely.

So now how do i actually got the legendary boots?
I built three barracks, workshops, and arcane sanctum each, go with 100 army, and slow the game as slow as possible. I dodged that meat wagon with my priests like it's judgment day and meteor falls on earth. Why three of them? Because it's ridiculously stupid when you can't cripple the enemy's resources. No matter how hard you hit it has to be wiped down in a shot and since it's not possible you have to train faster than the enemy. Brute force does work but it costs me from 22k ish gold to 7k.

I hope the rest of the chapters aren't like this, i really want to give this one 5/5 stars.

The next mission is much harder. I agree, almost the whole campaign itself is unnecessarily difficult on Hard. Shame, because I like turnro's campaigns. But yeah, it's not as much fun as Malfurion's Quest.
