Hey guys, I got a problem again :/

Oh well, the last text was to hard to read:
- Creating a sword at the moment, attached to this post (the .gmax file)
- Can't apply any texture to the mesh (I can, but it's not visible)
- The texures name is in the listener after running NeoDex
- Magos also "ignores" the texture
- Tried several textures, none works
- Same textures on a new created block next to the sword shows up

I hope anyone can help me now and understand my problem :)

Okay, I'll try to help you:

[ ]Can't apply any texture to the mesh (I can, but it's not visible)

[ ]Same textures on a new created block next to the sword shows up

At this moment I do understand that it does not work only at your sword? But at new meshes it does work? Right?

[...]but it's not visible]/quote]

Could have different reasons, be sure you have in Gmax visible texture on in the material editor.
But would be nice if you upload the texture and you'll put in the link here[ as .TGA ]
Just to be sure :)

Uhm could be also your model, but I do not have any .gmax importing tools/scripts, try to up it in another extension like .3ds.
I am to lazy to download Gmax right now but if no one will help you I'll download it :X

Okay, I searched for a converter and it doesn't exist... all talk about converting into md3 /and afterwards importing it in 3ds max with another script) and I don't even know what THIS is.
I hope someone else has gmax already xD
And yes, you got the problem. One texture, "two" meshes. It works with none of the parts of the sword, while I can apply it to a new mesh.
Visibility in the material editor is on, yes.
The texture is the uther.blp of warcraft (uther.tga in this case)

Hm ok thats weird. Just one question, could you make a screenshot of your current uvw map(unwrap window)?
Including its all faces, just select all polygons and then go unwrap..

Just want to see where you've placed your faces.
Best would be faces and vertex screenshots, but just make one and upload it here.

Erm, am I right if I think that you want an unwrap? Ok, not that hard to understand, but there doesn't even exist an unwrap. I can't even drag n' drop (nor per apply button) it to the mesh(s) and the unwrap wouldn't show the texture too :/
But I think you also wanted normal shots? I'm not used to "model-debugging" xD
