is it possible to display a message to a single player? i keep ending up with messages that are displayed to all players whenever one is meant for the "owner of triggering unit + allies". they are neutral to each other most of the time, and are all on the same force. i wouldnt mind making a new force for each player, but there apparently is a limit of 6 forces.

Use player groups, make as many player groups as you have teams, for team one, add all players to Playergroup1, do that for each team.
Then you can show text messages to those player groups.
