Telegraphs for bosses

As I have not seen this anywhere so far and needed it for my map, I thought I could also share it here.

I have created three different telegraphs or "swirlys" as some of them are called in WoW: Round, Cone, Square.
They are intended to be customized in the WorldEditor.

You can freely change size, alpha, colour, scale, time scale and anything else with triggers (Special Effect Actions).
They are slightly above ground but keep in mind to change Z-Axis when using on uneven terrain.

Imports are all: "swirly/swirly_*your current shape*_moving.dds"
e.g.: swirly/swirly_square_moving.dds

These looks cool and could have been verry usefull for what i’m currently creating for a map.

Do these exist for SD aswell?
Or can i stil import them if i have Reforged but run the map on SD settings?

They will not work for SD as they are (or as far as I am aware). SD uses textures with 512x512 while HD uses 1024x1024. So you would to at least need to change the textures. But also not 100% sure if SD can handle the Material property as it is in the model. I can check and maybe make them in SD as soon as I am healthy again (currently more or less bound to bed).

Okey that’s too bad since i’m working my map to be SD only.

It would be awesome if you managed to fix it for SD and i would 100 % use this.

Hmm I did not check all textures but what I saw was at maximum the round one could be done with vanilla. But was a bit lazy to search all textures, so you are probably right.
Yes, the circular one could be done with a square mesh on a "Brilliance Aura" or "Selection Circle" texture. For half-circles and quarter-circles, just modify the UV wrapping so that the square or rectangle covers half the "Brilliance Aura" or "Selection Circle" texture.
