Ok ehm first of all your terrain looks very plain and could use more detail also add som more rocks and envirorments specialy on that last screen. Right now to be honest your terrain looks really boring and needs somthing that catches the eye and make's it look nice besides this also try to add a bit more tile variation specialy in the first and last screen. Hope that i didn't sound rude and that my advice helps you a bit.

mhm, ok where to start. it lacks LOTS of vegetation, you need t use way more doodads, make more tile variation and don't spam grass models. also, never use the lordeearon summer dirty grass thingy, it looks horribly horrible.

do you mean the grassy dirt tile? I'll try to find some other tile to replace it, btw can you suggest some?

Thanks for the comments! Your comments and suggestions are greatly valued. +rep

I'll to work on your suggestions and hopefully make them... Yeah, I'll reduce those grasses, and also after I added lots of grasses, it seems that it made the raise, lower, smooth brushes lag...

I'll post new screenshots when I've made more adjustments...

Your character model seems to be floating.

yes, he is floating... +rep

Looks better now, i know try to restrict spamming for gameplay reasons and because of the camera angle. Keep that in mind guys.

But still, like stated, the tileset needs more variation.

Hmm, well the second set are much better than the first.

I'm guessing that your character is in a forested area, away from any road ways or anything, but maybe you could try to dense it up a bit? Just by adding more doodads, trees, and the like you could maybe make it seem like more of a forest, but then add some small little dirt paths, or paths out of some other material. Make sure with trees, that you change the sizes, rotate them, and stuff like that so you don't have the same sized tree, pointing the same direction, in multiple spots or it will look really bad.

Now do not randomly spam stuff, that will just ruin any effect you could have had. Another thing would be height variation. It still just seems a bit flat, and would get both repetitive and boring to look at after a while. I'm not trying to be a complete critique since its a playable terrain, but adding more could add more of an atmospheric effect which is kind of hard to find in some playable maps.

yeah, its in a forest area... I'll add "path" tiles next time... ^^

thanks! +rep

Pitch and roll angle of units should be 0 when viewed from this angle! Gravity makes it hard to stand diagonally on a hill.

I dont know if I can change it in-game + the angle of the camera is changeable in-game...

@Debode - I'll change the names (I'll remake the heroes after all)... For doodads, I'll try to find good things to add...

your thread starter post which i call TSP,pic 1 was fine
2 pic, your waterfall was super failure, you should really tint it's color to match the water color,go to map options and look at the water tinting color
set your waterfall tinting color to the same
3rd pic,the black thing which means you can't see that place, ruined it
iseedeadpeople should do the trick but you can't use it
4th,is that flying thingy a bird or a duck ?

normally waterfalls look whitish even if the sea was blue because it was moving fast... actually I haven't seen a waterfall that isn't whitish... isn't that right? anyway, gotta try tinting it a bit...

at the fourth, well that was parts of a tree, just fogged...

anyway, thanks for the comments... ^_^

oh and you misunderstood the last question,i was saying the flying ducks in the sky, look at your first post, fourth pic,see those flying ducks?

oh, wait... I really think that they are either trees, or the hawk model... I cannot check it in WE since that terrain changed a lot already...

I'm not really sure ryt now because the screenie was pretty old, but they would either be leaves of trees(obstructed from view because of the fog of war) or the hawk-modeled birds (if unit-models can get "cut" by fog of war...)...
