Would you update the earlier campaign so we can set the difficulty?
Sure, once The Path to Valour is finished I'll probably go back and give Lordaeron's Legacy the love it deserves in terms of re-making missions 1, 5 and 6 and add variable difficulty and do a small update for Lordaeron's Destiny to add variable difficulty, fix some triggers and maybe re-do some of the voice acting as well :) however that will only happen once Path to Valour is finished which probably won't be until next year at the earliest.

How are the stromies going? :)
I was sure you uploaded a few teasing images, but can't find them!
It's going well!

"Acts" 1 and 2 of the campaign are pretty much finished (just the second interlude to do) so it's the third and final act left so I'd say about 66% done. The next few missions I'm aiming for some more technically challenging gameplay so we'll see how that turns out, but as a hint I'm looking at the Gorgon mission on Char from Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm as inspiration as well as a mission objective I don't think we've ever seen before involving blight :)

I also commissioned a new background screen by an artist so I need to animate it and then I'll show it off.

Work is proceeding and Stromgarde will show the true strength of Humanity!

Oh nice progress! Do you plan to a release a demo?

I never played StarCraft, so I can't really relate!

Ohhh that's promising :)
Unfortunately not, I'm not a big fan of releasing works before they are finished, or at least that's my own personal preference with my own work (obviously lots of other projects release demos, parts etc and there's nothing wrong with that) but I have no intentions of uploading it before it is fully finished.

That said in contrast to previous works I have had a small number of people play through the campaign so far to give feedback and find any bugs which has massively improved the quality in terms of bugs at least this time around so hopefully when release comes, the campaign will be as highly polished as it can be :)

EDIT:

The new campaign background screen is finally finished!

This awesome piece titled "Lady in Red" is by the equally awesome reddit user u/wilted_kale a fellow Warcraft 3 and RTS enjoyer who I found on reddit. Please go check out his stuff as it's all very cool and well made and I am extremely thankful to finally be able to replace the old placeholder background with this new bespoke piece. He was a pleasure to work with and I'm excited to be able to finally show off his work!

Triggering has begun on the final playable mission, there is a playable epilogue which will be equivalent to a full mission so I'd say we're maybe 95% of the way there, all previous missions are fully finished except for maybe some music here and there :) glad you're excited for it, I'm aiming for a summer release and hoping I can make it!
