Background Story
Talanji is the Queen of the Zandalari Empire and daughter of God King Rastakhan. She was a priestess of the loa Rezan, however after his death and the death of her father she became a priestess of Bwonsamdi. Unlike her father, Talanji does not think the old ways are always best and believes that the Zandalari must adapt if they are to survive in a changing world. While her father's advisers were wary of making an alliance with the Horde, Talanji was a staunch supporter of the Zandalari and Horde uniting to face their common enemies.
During the Fourth War she formed the Talanji's Expedition, a united group of Zandalari and Darkspear Trolls who fought against the blood trolls of Nazmir. Following her father's death during the Battle of Dazar'alor, Talanji succeeded him as Queen of Zandalar. In the aftermath of the armistice, and the defeat of the Widow's Bite, Talanji joined the Horde Council as the Zandalari representative.
