Maybe, if it really, really bothers you, you could try contacting @Ralle to see what can be done, but personally I would advise against that as reputation points aren't really so important that every single one matters and the fact that someone has gotten a few more points by mistake isn't a big deal.

So, my advice - ultimately nothing bad happened, so just let it go and in the future try to be a bit more mindful when giving reputation points

Regarding the topic, I don't see why does this matter that much for you, it's not like you're losing your rep when you give it to someone else.
