Well, I read all the tutorials on the different forums, but I really couldn't find out how the syntax for implementing the new skins is.
First, I personally found out that the skins somehow only work for the "orignal" models which kinda hit me hard as I couldn't easily transform one Hero to a different skinned Hero.
Well, now, heres my real problem. What path/syntax do I have to use for the basic skinning (change an already original game unit's skin)?
And what if I create my own units?
What happens if I change the name of the model, will it affect the paths?
An Example:
After finding out that the skin only works on the "archtype" models I started to make my own units to modify. I chose Kjaelden as my base hero for the undead race using the wonderfully Skeletalwarlord.blp. No his name changed to Minion, as well as the desciption. Please explain me step after step what I have to direct it to in the different situations. Thanks in advance.
