switching maps

Hey guys Im new here. Anyways I was wondering how to switch maps. For example, in the bonus campaign of TFT there was one quest were you need to pick up some plants. Anyways you can go to a certain area lets say cave entrance and from there your in a different map. You keep the character level, items etc. and you can just go back to the original map.

I need to learn how to do this because 256x256 is to small for what I want to accomplish.

That can only be done in campaign maps, and is a ***** to do. You rally have to know what you are doing, especially as far as saving and loading batch files. No tutorial on it yet, but you can open the bonus campaign and look at it for yourself.
