we should make a section somewhere in the forums where it contains only stickies and no one can post and it would have WE info about like hidden stuff and commands for doodads (like raise and lower) so we all dont have to keep makin new posts when we forget stuff like that

Well its a good idea, but I think we have a tutorial about it somewhere. And if anything like that was done, I think the best thing to do would to create a thread and sticky it in the WE Help Zone or somewhere else, with all of those things in it.

That would be a little extravagant, and most of the idiots that just join to ask questions are a little too prideful to consider themselves "noobs". Maybe have a General Mapping FAQs link up top with the rest of the site navigation.

Trying to "force" people to do this, that, or the other thing rarely produces any positive results.

New users are as free as the rest of our community: to act responsibly (by reading the FAQ, rules, and sticky threads) or not.

One possibility that has been discussed was to require that a user make his or her first post in the introductions forum, however, Ralle doesn't want to restrict anyone's freedom in that way.

btw, you should enable Search function for guests... because ppl don't see search function, register and immediately make a thread
