Swamplands

I like making swamps, so i made another one

The deathwoods coming off the swamp trees were a great addition.
Maybe use the UTM rowboat instead of the WC3 one?

Like the light and the depth, also great doodad placement.
You could indicate some small rocks under the water-plane, maybe some fishes (or a dead fish). Also some birds or flies, would be a great addition.
Some dead trees, half sunken could also look nice...
Anyway, I like it the way it is!

Wow, epic. I really like it. Still, it doesn't look like a real swamp. A real swamp is crowded with all sorts of stuff go look in google and your missing a mist. But still, I'm liking how it looks, much space with depth, and I like the fog you used, mind telling me what color did you use?

I wanted to add some dragonflies, but the dragonfly model by olofmoleman has some weird black smoke thing around it... I'll maybe do some updates tomorrow, late here atm.

Unfortunately it seems the map got screwed up somehow and i can't improve it

Just guessing you opened another map before you opened this one. Cause that's where this would happen to me D:

Guess you never tested the map ingame... cause if you did there should be a save-copy of it in maps/test or so.
I think every terrainer got "screwed" by the We some times, so annoying...

Ye i basicly had evry problem that can acure with the WE xD i remember i needed to redo my entire campaign i made since i inported the models rong... (noobish mistake) anyway like megafyr sayed i think thats indeed the problem.

No, i don't think i opened a map before this one, but i did open another while this one was open. What happened was that when i saved the map yesterday, it gave me a ****load of errors (ones where u have to click OK) and when i saved again, it saved just fine. This morning i discovered it was broken after all

Lovely swamp feeling, thats for sure. The water might be a bit too "clean" at some points, but thats being picky. Anyways, about the problem. In my case, this happened many times when I was new to terraining, and I never figured out how to fix it, but in all my cases I simlpy had to wait for some time, a week or two, and then it would be just fine, not saying that will happen to you, but thats my case. Now'a days it doesn't happen at all, somehow I believe it has something to do with the PC >.>
