Suicidal Units

If a unit's "unit type" is set to "suicidal", in what way will that affect the unit and units around it?

I think that suicidal unit type has nothing to do with unit functionality but with Warcraft3 AI interactions with that unit (feel threat from it or something).

Suicidal/Sapper: Units that have a 'Asds' (Self Destruct) ability and are tagged suicidal will automatically self destruct on enemies with a right click. In many maps you probably don't need that feature so you can abuse this unit classification to tag certain unit types. The classification can then be checked in the allowed targets field of your abilities. This can often save a lot of trigger work.

Besides, units of type 'suicidal' cannot be loaded by zeppelins.

that's my main reason of asking this because i want to use it as a tag to help the damage detection system in my map distinguish whether a damage was done by a melee or range unit, and i want to make sure that setting units into suicadal type will not affect my game.
