I think this would be cool for me and for the others if an edit-history of a user could be seen by a click of a button (i.e. view edit history)

Would this be beneficial to the Hive in some way, in your opinion?

EDIT: To make some posts private, maybe add an option to the post that says: "Allow Public View of Edit History"

Never came by such a thing.
Did any of you ever feel the need to check on the edit history of your posts? :V
I remember about two occasions where this has actually been necessary/useful, and anything else but necessities make things more complicated.

I don't know about the other people but for me:

Let's say I've made a post, then I updated it. In the case that I want other people to see the edit history of the updates I 'll check the box.
That doesn't make much sense, actually. If you edit your posts, you do so for a reason. Why else would you do it? So showcasing your edit history publicly because of this is paradox.

The only situations where this would be necessary, is when bad shit went down, and Staff has to check up on something - and here, it makes most sense that only admins have the ability to look into Edit histories.

-Just add the update in the post it self.. your writing the edit history anyway, so making your own "history" should be no trouble.

Do not see any reason for this I must admit, since it sounds like you reason for wanting it is easily durable without it, and those situations that truly require it is already solved by having staff being able to access it.
