Starting Out

Hello everyone, I've been doing map editing for almost 7 years, and the only thing I havent tried is skinning, I have HUGE amounts of experience with photoshop and other editing tools, so that wont be a problem. I was wondering if anyone had a basic skin they needed done, or maybe a small project for me to work on, I think I could do a pretty good job once I get the concept down, any advice on where I should start?

before you ask you should allways skin something for the hell of it so people can see how you skin. justa thaught tho.

He didn't say he doesn't know how to make textures, just that he didn't make any 'till now.
I suggest you join the "skinning" challenge that just started here if you just want to practice, check the arena forum.

Lol, I never said I was a skinner, nor did I ever even mention, or insinuate that I wanted to learn to skin properly. But I own recolours lol, and I realize that it's not skinning, all it is is changing around some colours, lol hardly requires talent.
