Brief:

Starraise is a map that features great PvP combat. Starraise has a total of 9 different classes- Warrior, Warlock, Druid, Rogue, Priest, Paladin, Hunter, Shaman and Mage. Each class have their own unique qualities and advantages. This map was made to host 'arena' style battles; 2v2, 3v3 and
4v4.
Starraise also features alot of different gear sets. From PvE gear sets to PvP gear sets to create a uniqueness about each of the characters.



You're needed in this project!
The alpha testing of all the classes needs to be done to achieve some sort of balance. We need at the least, 3 different testers for close-to accurate testing. Bug reporting, taking notes of what's overpowered or underpowered or even just right is also needed. Remember, even if it is fun- we need data.

Starraise is an arena map where several different classes can compete in team combat to attain victory to unlock better rewards (gear etc). It will be very similar to WoW's current arena but will have more obstacles to make it more spicy.




CLASSES
-------

DRUID
* Powerful healer and spellcasting class. Druids depend on nature as their ally which they use
to trap, confuse and entangle an opponent. Druids are very powerful healers and they're
uniqueness comes from being the best HoT (Heal over Time) healer in the game.
- Rejuvenation: Heals a friendly unit for 3400 hit points over 14 seconds.
- Entangling Roots: Causes roots to burst from the ground, immobilizing and disarming a target
enemy unit for 6 seconds, and dealing 50 damage per second.
- Moonfire: Burns the enemy for 3*INT damage and additional 1200 damage over 12 seconds.
- Innervate: Restores all mana to a unit.
- Tranquility: Causes rains of healing energy to pour down in a large area, healing 850 damage
every 2 sec for the next 15 seconds.
- Thorns Aura: A natural aura grants the Druid protection harm and deals 75 damage to an
enemy melee units that attack him.



HUNTER
* Powerful ranged class, specializing in trapping and tricking their targets for victory.
Hunters can also summon animals to aid them in combat.
- Summon Pet Bear: Summons a powerful bear; capable of several abilities.
- Concussive Sting: Shoots a target for 400 damage then causes 75 damage every sec for the next 6 sec.
- Ensare: Traps a target in place for 5 sec.
- Wryven Sting: Knocks a target out of combat for 6 sec.
- Aimed Shot: Causes base damage plus 700 in addition to 4*AGI.
- Wing Clip: Slows enemy movement speed by 60% for 6 sec.



MAGE
* Powerful spellcasting class, specializing in casting fireballs, frostbolts and several other
magical abilities to aid them in combat.
- Polymorph: Turns the target into a sheep for 5 sec.
- Pyroblast: Causes 200 damage plus 7*INT as bonus damage.
- Mana Shield: Absorbs 15% of damage but uses 10% of your mana whenever you take damage.
- Blink: Teleports away from melee range.
- Blizzard: Calls down waves of ice shards, causing 355 damage per wave.
- Frost Nova: Freezes targets in place for 5 sec.
- Summon Water Elemental: Summons a pet water elemental to aid you in combat.



PALADIN
* Hybrid class, capable of healing or rolling on the front lines alongside warriors. They
use the power of light to fuel them.
- Hammer of Justice: Stuns a target for 5 sec.
- Flash Heal: Heals a target for 850 damage.
- Holy Light: Heals a target for 2000 damage.
- Brilliance Aura: Increases mana regeneration by 20% to nearby friendly units.
- Divine Shield: Makes the paladin completely invunerable for 10 sec.
- Crusader Strike: Causes 200 damage plus 6*STR and restores 90 mana whenever used.
- Judgement of Light: Causes 6xINT and 6xSTR damage to an opponent as holy damage.



PRIEST
* Powerful healing class. Priests can be very durable if used in the right hands and can
keep their allies up with their exceptional healing abilities. They too can be fueled
by the light or even dark powers.
- Mind Flay: Drains 177 hit points and slows enemy movement speed by 50%.
- Renew: Heals a friendly unit for 2500 hit points over 15 seconds.
- Mana Burn: Burns 180 mana and deals the damage it burns on the unit.
- Greater Heal: Heal a friendly unit for 2260 damage.
- Silence: Stops all enemies from casting spells for 5 sec.
- Inner Fire: Increases a target friendly unit's armor by 5 for 120 seconds.
In addition, increases all damage done by 9%.
- Shadow Word: Pain: A word of darkness that deals 1440 damage over 12 seconds.



ROGUE
* Deadly melee class, capable of very high mobility attacks. Rogues are meant to harass
and wear out an enemy. With a very capable arsernal of abilities, rogues can be
the most annoying enemy to step toe to toe with.
- Sinister Strike: Instant strike that causes 150 damage plus 2.5*AGI additional damage.
- Slice and Dice: Increases attack speed by 30% and movement speed by 50% for 15 seconds.
- Eviscerate: Instant attack that causes 450 damage and 5*AGI additional damage.
- Kidney Shot: Stuns a target for 4 sec.
- Stealth: Makes this unit invisible until cancelled.
- Evasion: Gives a 20% chance to avoid an attack.
- Crippling Poison and Rupture: A poison attack that slows the target enemy's movement
by 75% for 6 seconds. And causes 480 damage over the duration.



SHAMAN
* Hybrid class, capable of being an excellent group healer, an extremely dangerous elemental
caster to be feared or a melee-spell hybrid in the front lines.
- Healing Wave: Heals a target for 1850 damage then bounces back to an additional 6 targets.
- Blood Lust: Increases attack speed by 35% for 60 seconds.
- Flame Shock: Burns the enemy for 50 damage plus an additional 2xINT, 2xAGI and 2xSTR for
damage and an additional 750 damage over 10 seconds.
- Frost Shock: Shocks the target enemy with a wave of frost, dealing 250 damage and slowing
movement speed by 50% for 8 seconds. In addition, causes 2x INT, 2xAGI and 2xSTR as bonus damage.
- Chain Lightning: Calls forth a bolt of lightning that bounces up to 3 times, dealing 180 damage on
the primary target. Causes 7xINT as bonus damage.
- Stormstrike: Instantly attacks with both weapons for 200 damage plus 5xSTR and 5xAGI, removing all buffs for 1 sec.
5 sec cooldown. Use of stormstrike will also restore 110 mana when used.
- Snake Totem: Summons an immobile snake totem to attack the Shaman's enemies



WARLOCK
* Powerful spellcasting class, capable of tanking damage better than any other caster and
dishing out volatile spells to destroy their enemies.
- Shadow Bolt: Causes 300 damage plus 6*INT as additional damage.
- Summon Felguard: Summons a demon that has several abilities to aid it's master in combat.
- Hellfire: Sends waves of hellfire at everyone in the surrounding area. Caues 400 damage per wave.
- Curse of Exhaustion: Slows movement and attack speed by 20%.
- Life Drain: Drains 155 hit points per sec to the warlock for the duration of 6 sec.
- Corruption: A curse that deals 2000 damage over 10 seconds.



WARRIOR
* Powerful melee class, capable of taking and dishing out large damage. Warriors can be
a skilled master of arms, an impenetrable juggernaught capable of withstanding absurd
amounts of damage or brutal berserker.
- Mortal Strike: A vicious attack that deals (7*STR) in physical damage plus 300 damage.
- Charge: Quickly dash to an opponent, stunning them for 3 seconds and causing 126 damage.
- Shield Wall: Reduces all damage taken by 75% (This spell needs to be reworked).
- Heroic Strike: Causes base damage plus an additional 980.
- Bladestorm: Causes a bladestorm of destructive force around the Warrior, causing a whirlwind
attack for 850 damage every second for the next 6 seconds. While under the effects of Bladestorm,
the warrior feels no pity, fear or remorse and cannot be stopped unless killed.
- Hamstring: Slows movement speed by 50% for 10 sec.

Besides the descriptions, I would need help in the following departments.
- Itemization Crew. (You make gear with certain stats, it requires a decent amount of math and I can explain it in depth further)
- Trigger Crew. (1-2 members should be efficient. I can do a little but I'm no expert at it).
- Testing Crew. (2-4 members should be the least. This is very important for valuable data)
- Modelers.
- Mapper.
