Spellbook Hotkeys not working

For some reason the hotkeys of my spells are not working. Is it because they are in a spellbook? Also another thing I noticed is that you cannot make a hero with ai which has spellbook abilities.

even if they are in a spell book hotkeys still work or they should cuz i have played many games which have spellbooks and the spells inside have working hotkeys

Are the Hotkeys cross looping. Are you sure you set the HOtkeys in the entry field on the abillity.? Otherwise please show us what exactly you have done so we can check to see for errors

Yes I made sure that all of this is correct. The only thing is when I press the Hotkey nothing happens.

Post map so we can take a look at it? And see what exactly has been done

Some abilities have hard coded hotkeys that cannot be changed, I've experienced.. so no matter what you wirte down in the field, they won't change.
Try your keyboard from one end to the other and see if you can find a key that works for that ability - if so, no you know the flaw

Thanks for answering my posts. It's just as you said ThaAthel, the hotkeys work only with their original letter. Since almost all are base on channel, I can forget about hotkeys. +rep to all of you and thanks again.
