I have a spell request.I want it in GUI if possible....anyway here is a description of the spell:
Name: Evil Spirit
Hero summons evil spirits around him hitting and damaging random enemies in 700 range.(i can make the damage formula)-(those evil spirits shouldn't move too fast...)-(evil spirits should be looking dark)
I want the spell to be like "turn it on" and as long as it is enabled your mana decrease by X amount.When you turn it off,mana stop decreasing.
Spell should be MUI if possible and leakless.

Look, making a channeling spell AND at the same time having it based off immolation is impossible. This is the best thing you can do: View attachment 69722

If so here it is...
Name:Mana Shield
Hero reduces incoming damage(all types of damage even spells) by an % amount according to his intelligence.For example,if hero intelligence is 60 it reduces it by 60%.(i might wanna change the formula for this)Low mana cost.
Spell should work like this...Hero uses spell,he has to define a target for it,it can also be used on allies.It lasts for 2 min.,but if the Hero casts it again on the same target it goes again from 2 min(can re-new buff).

A special effect is created to the hero has Mana Shield buff,something like the videos below.Only the blue aura that looks like spirit lines going around hero.

Done, but know that for higher Intelligence values, the hero ends up getting healed by the damage source, he doesn't just block the damage. Press Escape to increase hero's Intelligence by 10. View attachment 69729

Actually it increases Intelligence by 30 :D and you forgot to make spell able to target self.Nevermind i did it.Testing it now...
Oh by the way,you will get your second rep once i spread a bit.

EDIT:Spell is a bit buggy...i had about 3k Intelligence and i still took a considerable amount of damage...
And by the way,when you cast more than 1 time the spell to the same target,a mass of special effects is created on the target.Could you fix those plz?
 
I don't get it. Why should he be able of targeting himself? I mean... He won't take any damage from himself!
Anyway, it's now fixed and works like a charm! I just needed a debugging timer (damage was tangled along with the heal effect). Oh, I changed the attribute intake to 500, cause I was tired of pressing the Esc button 100 times :p

Well you misunderstood me a bit:D
Mana shield is supposed to be a defensive buff that a Unit casts on himself or allies in order to protect it from all damage(the ammount of damage reduced depends on the casters intelligence).
