Spell on item doesn't work

Hello! I gave an item the inner fire ability, but when i click on it nothing happens. Furthermore I cannot even drop the item. I've checked and it is only because of the inner fire spell

Must be because it's an autocast ability, use a dummy ability and add that one to the item instead. When this dummy ability is casted, make a dummy unit cast the real ability behind the scene.

Check if the item is clickable in the Object Editor, you can also choose whether it can be dropped or not.
