In GUI you can retreive a heroes stats easily. You will find the action under an integer opperations you you might have to convert it from a integer to a real in your damage action for it to work. In JASS it is easier to handle thoe and is more efficent but harder to understand as GUI words it nice and clearly for you to understand.
Easily retrievable? I can't find it anywhere. Care to point it out or point me toward a tutorial that does? I read one on "Making some basic spells", but all I saw was "look, I have the variable here" without any explanation as to how he got it.
In GUI you have to convert an integer to real in side the damage field to see it, it is some interger action.
Basically when choosing the ammount of damage for the damage unit action to do, choose the integer to real option then in that you should be able to choose the action that returns the heroe's ammount of a stat.
