...and the answer is no, basically. Without triggers 522 is limit, full stop.

Unit scaling down however does make it quite aesthetically pleasing, particularly if you leave structures at full scale. War3 has a knack for making gigantic footmen come out of Barrack doors that are half their size:ugly:
 
Wc3 can not handle speeds any faster than 522 or what ever. You can however use SetUnitX/Y to boost their displacement over time to higher ammounts without interupting their current move order (although it will bug their pathing systems).

they dont need pathing systems really, can you tell me how to set the units X/Y
Oh and none of your other suggestions worked guys :/ thx for trying +rep anyways
