Hello everyone i'm here to get some of your ideas in my map :p
I'm looking for POINT spells, something like spells from "WARLOCK" maps.
-No blink/teleport spells.
-Spells has 1 level only.
-There are 3 types of spells Rogue(agility spells) Warrior (strength spells) Magician (intelligence spells).
-Spells can be but not supposed to be based on stats...
-Low damage like 10-20 and some effect.... :grin: :wink: :grin:

Hmm, see if I can dump some simple ideas for you. Not going to bother with names.

1. Very quick small red orb shoots forward, if it collides with anyone it does moderate damage (1-2), but upon reaching its destination is explodes dealing 30 AoE damage split amongst all targets close enough, as well as leaving fire that deals 1 damage per second

2. Skull-like projectile that when colliding with a enemy banishes them increasing damage taken by 10%, for every additional unit hit all affected units get a stacking debuff increasing damage taken by 2% per application

3. Going against the grain here, but this spell targets a person instead, dealing no damage directly but causing 8 small orbs to fly off from his position that do 5 damage to any person they collide with and repeat the process upon collison (creating 8 more orbs that behave the same)

4. All these non-point-target spells are coming to me. But another one is creating a shadow of the caster that casts every spell they do in an appropriately mirrored location but all damage done by the shadow is halfed.

5. Basic fireball goes to a location, upon collison it explodes sending flame walls erupting out in an X shape that do minimal fire damage when you stand in them and dissipate rather quickly, but upon collision it applies a a living bomb debuff, were no damage is taken, but if the person takes damage within x amount of time they take 20-30 damage to themselves and 10-20 damage split in an AoE around them

6. Instant ice-effect goes from the target to the point, the first person in-line between the point and the caster get frozen and then as the frozen target thaws ice orbs fire off in random directions that damage and slow enemies they collide with.

That's about all I can think up right now.

An idea that I had earlier today had to do with using the Demon Storm doodad (more like the effect of 6-8 at a time) to impede the target player's vision for a short (but still effective period of time). It doesn't have to damage, just has to stay with them as they try to walk around.

A 'blind' effect, I like it.

Maybe an 'aim diminish'? Like a random player has their aim changed to be off in a random direction (Up to 45 degrees on either side, so up to 45 or down to -45).

I would try to make this awesome idea myself, but I'm really new to the creating aspect of this game...and all of my attempts at spell creation/fixing have failed.

ima give this a try:)
Lethe Skin
-active, Lethe Skin armor lasts 3 secs
-everytime a unit damages you he gets poisoned and is damaged by 1 hp per sec, poison lasts for 5 secs. (poison do stack:))

Status sphere
-active
-unit shoots target with a orb (any projectile that is round) that does no damage but stuns the target for 3 secs if the current hp of the target is an even number or slows the target for 6 seconds of the targets current hp is a odd number:)

Road through Erebus:

Creates a ring of portals around the caster which 'shoot' out to a distance of 500. Any unit which is touched by the portal is 'shifted' (an edit of the NE dragon's Phase Shift effect) temporarily to Erebus for a few game-time seconds. They return at full health, but with a life regen of -100HP/Second for 60 Seconds.

I'm not sure what the HP values are for your heroes, so I just assigned a random figure. The idea was to reduce the HP of each unit affected by this to 20% of the max HP of the highest HP playable hero in the game. Readjust the values as seen fit.
