Special Effects attached on unit without leaks

How do I make special effects on a unit via triggers without leaks??

add effect on unit
set myVariable = last created special effect

destroy myVariable later

does it leak like "Create a Special Effect at Point"?? If not thanks

Special effect leaks no matter what.

But it can removed like I explained no matter how/where you place it.

If you're making it on a point then you remove the effect AND the point
If you make it on a unit then you just remove the effect
