How to manipulate a special effect´s size?

Edit the model, that's the only way.

You can use a dummy unit and change the size on that though.

Download Magos Model Editor, it's very easy to change a model's size

I would recommend creating custom dummy unit. Make that unit use your effect's model and just change that model's size.

what's a dummy unit? i've seen that term many times, but i don't know what it means :/

Dummy unit or dummy caster is basically a unit that casts spell for your hero when triggering custom spells, or when you need to simulate a missile moving etc...

In this case the dummy unit is just an unit you use to show the speciale effect.

A dummy unit is not a normal controlable unit. It can be used for different purposes. For example to case a spell pr as a bag for extra inventar slots.
