I'm doing a conversion of Diablo 2 into WarCraft 3, using 480x480 map (Single Player maps only mind you) sizes. And I'm using 1 map per Act (Won't be 5 maps, will use caches and such to create dungeons in other smaller maps, caves, etc). Right now I'm working on Act 1. And I've been working on it for the past few days with no issues ingame or in the editor whatsoever.

Now, after creating my first small cinematic (can be found as the Intro trigger I believe,) when I try and load the map in Wc3, it won't let me run it. It won't load the player slots, and when I click Start, the menu will go away as if to begin loading, then suddenly come back down as if it rejected the map.

Map can be found here: http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/pastebin.php?id=1rqlkm

Anyone have any ideas or am I totally f*cked?

Map works fine for me.
1. Downloaded map
2. Opened map with JNGP
3. Saved map
4. Hit the test map button
5. WC3 started
6. Map loaded
7. Got ingame, cinimatic faded to reveal characters and the nothing more happened (game kept running fine with no crash).

Remember that WC3 ingame will not allow you to start maps which have a path that is too long. The map path starts with the maps folder in the install directory and so includes the names of any sub directories in there that the map is located in.

I can't test using JNGP. I get an error.

And No you can't save it as a Vanilla WE because it's 480x480.

But that doesn't make sense, I've been able to run the map just fine until now. I never changed the path.

EDIT

I redownloaded the same file that I uploaded, placed it under C:/Program Files/games/WarCraft III/Maps, and it still wont load. I didn't touch it in the editor, I just downloaded and placed it there.

Wtf is going on.

Your AntiVirus has damaged you JNGP installation by removing the RtC files as they appear to be viruses (although that was how the RtC system worked so it is infact completly safe and a false positive). You need to redownload, extract and add to your antivirus exclusions JNGP. JNGP is reported as a false positive because it works by injecting enhancements into the memory of normal WE (asa we lack the source code to make a custom WorldEdit.exe).

But that still wouldn't stop Wc3 from bugging, would it?
