[SOLVED] Media section 'Memes' rule conflict

There's a paragraph in the rules that says this (See Spoiler)

Yet there is a category dedicated for memes in the media section.

I think this needs to be addressed. In my opinion memes should'nt really be in the media section, it should be posted in the Offtopic section atleast (Like what's actually written in the rules).

Honestly, the site rules are riddled with these kind of convolutions. If a rule needs four amendments to make sense it probably needs to be rethought and reworded.

There are too many items and too many amendments -- and they're spread out in too many different threads.

This is what people call a shit tangle.

It'd be good to have a more concise list of global site rules and all the netiquette stuff could go in sticky threads instead.
