Did you guys try out the new editor on Reforged yet? I would love to hear if it's a big improvement over the old one.

I am aware of the new EULA regarding Blizzard's douchebaggery but disregarding that for a while, is the new editor significantly better?

Is it realistic to assume a new revitalization of our nostalgic map making scene?

It's not a big improvement. There are some new features directly in the editor, like nested trigger folders in the trigger editor, but in itself it's almost the same.

There are however a lot of new functions and features available to modders. For example, the ability to entirely modify the UI and the ability to use Lua instead of JASS amongst other things. However, those things were introduced before reforged was released, so you could argue they aren't part of the "Reforged editor" :')
