Really cute icon with usefulness but can't tell it's a Slime though as the cranium covers most of everything. Sure, maybe the soft stains and greenish hue but not obvious.

It was either top down view or something more artistic, prefered the latter, besides like this it looks like the slime it's pouring from inside a cursed skull, so I prefer this one.

Yes? If you don't know the model, it's hard to tell and even knowing it doesn't do 100% justice to the slime idea.

Its a good icon but it requires context first to not be considered as a skeleton or a "slimy skeleton", i think you should just rename the icon.
