Skinning in Gimp

Can someone please post a basic skinning tutorial for gimp 2 program since this is the only program i have unless someone can post a link where i can dl a free version of a better program

you cant get a free, but trials.

google : photoshop trail downlaod or paintshop pro 9(or 10) download.

Skinning in gimp?
erm...hard to say, i dont use it much. Just open a skin (tga format) edit it.
use the eraser tool to great alpha effects on the skin(transpareny)
sorry, thats all i cant since since gimp isnt used alot.

You need to find The Gimp 2.0 program or earlier. Those versions are still a little buggy and before they started demanding payment. Try limewire?
