skining model

i just madea sword model in milkshape . but im stuck on where to makea skin for it.


i named the groups "hilt body etc"

but what do i do next?

too messy, no point, its best you make a cleaner one so the unwrap will actually work properly first. But to unwrap go to the last tab menu, click on the unwrap and select faces and place them on a panel, to add a texture go to the material side bare and add it to a group.
