[JASS] Simple Text Tag Question

I just wondered whether the texttag gets destroyed or whether it still exists when i use this:

[jass="texttag"]call SetTextTagLifespan(myTextTag, 0.5)[/code]

Can pls someone give me a clear answer?

No, you will have to disable their permanence too (SetTextTagPermanent()).

thats clear, but does it clear the text tag after this:

Yea, it will automatically recycle the text-tag. I don't even think you need to null the handle... the implementation of text-tags in Warcraft III is fairly clean and simple; the ID of a created text-tag will be anywhere from 0 to 99 (starting at 0 on the first text-tag) and once you've reached index 99 it will destroy the most recently created text-tag and replace it with the "newly" created one at index 99.

To answer your question directly, that won't leak - the handle will be recycled properly.
