Shadowed terrain issue

I am making a map, and i ran into an odd problem, when i modified the terrain, strange shadowing showed up, i cannot get rid of it. This is what I have tried,

-changing the terrain level
-re-starting world editor
-making it a boundary (didn't even darken it)
-blighting it (getting a bit desperate)
-forgot what else, but i tried something else

Anyone have ideas?

Try doing Calculate Shadows and Save Map under File

Yup, donut3.5 is exactly correct. The problem is because you had raised terrain there and removed it after you saved. What you are seeing is the shadows left over from the previous terrain. As donut mentioned, you can correct the problem by going to File -> Calculate Shadows and Save Map
