Alright, I tried the Augurs "Azeroth War Strategies", and got an idea about a control point-based map, where the Alliance and Horde etc. are exploring the other side of the Azeroth (what I mean is, that they are expanding to east from Azeroth and to west from Kalimdor, much like Columbus did at his day :p). But my problem is, that I'm all new to these control point-based maps, that have to be huge (even HUGER than the 256 x 256 maps) to get the whole map done without squeezing it, I would also need lots of extra terrain-types to make the terrains look impressive, but I have no idea, how do I edit the normal amounts of map size and such, so help would be appreciated!
I may also need little help with triggers, but I'll focus to the terraining, doodading and uniting first.

But anyways, thanks in forward!

For the normal World Editor there's no bigger map size then 256x256. if you want more, I believe the World Editor Unlimited allows you bigger map sizes.

For new terrains and help with triggers, you need to place a thread at Requests and Project Recruitment.

one more question, how do I add extra terrain tiles (more than 13 or 12)? Is it done by trigger or...?
