Select Unit Ability

In the goblin merchant the button text reads "Select User." Where can I edit the field for that, editing the select hero ability has no effect. I can only find an option to disable the select unit button.

Most shops use "Select Hero" ability, it selects any unit with an inventory. Change the "Tooltip - Normal" and "Tooltip - Turn Off" fields to what you want them to say. By defualt they should say...

Tooltip - Normal = Select |cffffcc00H|rero
Tooltip - Turn Off = Deselect |cffffcc00H|rero

@Kam, Do you want to remove the 'arrow' effect? If so go to Select Hero ability and find field unit indicator - set to False. It would be great if you remove value in Art Caster too.
If you want to remove the icon, go to field Show select unit button - set to False.

Altering "Select Hero" has no effect on the "Select User" buttons text.

Edit Units\NeutralAbilityStrings.txt (search for neutral interact).

But this will only apply to him. Other users won't see the change, although if it's singleplayer map - it's okey.

No, you can import it into the map to overshadow the one in the mpq.

Edit: I can't seem to find the field in the txt document. It only refers to select hero.

Edit 2: I've been through every logical txt file, where is this located?

It affects both Select Hero and Select Unit, though you only asked for the one of the Goblin Shop, which is Select Hero. Furthermore, these files are language-distinct. Maybe search for [Anei] or User then.

And I hope you have actually extracted that one from War3Patch.mpq, not even sure if it existed back then in RoC.

@Waterknight I didn't know that importing such file overwrites all users ones, greeat to know that at last.
And no, it doesn't exist in RoC.

The order is map's files > patch > tft > roc but not all files can be overshadowed in the map. That is also hinted in grey in the Import Manager when selecting properties of an imported file.

The correct field is located in War3xLocal.mpq in NeutralAbilityStrings.txt.
