I know I might sound crazy, but is there a way to make doodads show through the fog, without being tinted black? Kind of like the towers in Tides of Blood, how you can see them, but cant actually select them or see their life? I really would like to refrain from making the whole map visible just to make the doodads look better

Yeah, it's in the Object Editor. However you'll need to apply it to all doodads individually. You can also set it so the doodad is animated and shows while in fog-of-war. I'm pretty sure this option is in the "Art" category.

I'm pretty sure it applys to torches, braizers, windmills, etc.
By default, the waterfall and fountains are animated in fog-of-war. The rest you'll have to do own your own.
[Edit]:
Oh and I have a question that I just can't seem to answer myself. As you can see in the World Editor, when you apply a Linear fog, it fogs the sky AND ground. Not completely, but it makes them hazey and looks realistic. However whenever I apply the trigger:
Trigger

Event: Map Initialization
Condition: n/a
Action: Environment- Create Fog
Something like that.

But when ever I make the fog in-game using that trigger, the sky appears to not be applying the fog; only the ground area is fogged! Is there a way to make the fog exactly like it in the World Editor? Or is this some kind of bug in WC3 like the arrow key delays?
Thanks in advance;
