I'm thinking, what about a contest that is about making a scary cima or a scary map? Halloween is over, but scaring the c*** is really fun. Thats just an idea i have. A contest were you need to amke a scary cima or map!

Warcraft can't be made scary, it is almost impossible...

I think a combination of real-textured models or whatever they are called, good terrain, and very well prepared atmosphere could do the trick. But with in-game models, good luck cuz its ever gonna work.
