Well, that took care of the glow placement.
For our model, I noticed that the flame insignia is but a flat plain. I tried folding it over the chest region, to no avail.
I'm working on this too, but try copying and pasting the flame mesh onto the white cloth for the tabard, so you have negative space as part of the mesh. Next, use the same flame mesh and combine that with the rest of the red tabard, and then connect the dots between the two flame insignia meshes.
Give it a shot, and tell me what you think. Otherwise, great model!
