Saw 8 1.36

Description:

In Saw 8: players find themselves trapped in a series of deadly trials crafted by the infamous Jigsaw. The map is a dark, twisted labyrinth where survival depends not only on skill but on your ability to outthink the traps laid before you. Will you work with your fellow captives to escape, or will you sacrifice them for your own survival ?

Map Features:

  • Cooperative and Competitive Play: Work together to solve puzzles or sabotage others to ensure your survival.
  • Complex Puzzle Chambers: Each room presents a new deadly trial, from timed puzzles and trap-filled corridors to rooms requiring teamwork to unlock the exit.
  • Horrifying Environments: Traverse dimly lit hallways, blood-soaked chambers, and rusty torture rooms filled with menacing contraptions that can end your life in an instant.
  • Time-Based Challenges: Each trial has a time limit—fail to complete the challenge in time, and you’ll face the consequences. The further you progress, the deadlier and more complicated the trials become.
  • Resource Management: Items such as keys, health potions, and tools are scattered throughout the map, but they are limited. Choose wisely whether to help yourself or your allies.

Gameplay Mechanics:

  • Traps & Puzzles: Each trial is unique, requiring a mix of problem-solving, agility, and tactical decision-making to survive.
  • Player vs. Environment: Some trials can be solved by working together, but some are easier if you betray your mates.
  • Respawns: Once a player dies, he has the opportunity to come back. However, his teammates will have to work together to revive him.

Objective:

Survive Jigsaw’s final test and find the hidden exit. But remember, only the cleverest, most ruthless players will make it to the end. The clock is ticking, and Jigsaw always has another trick up his sleeve. Do you have what it takes to survive ?

Nice map, there are a few bugs

After the math room, in the Free Arcade mode, the player messages are still computed and they constantly reset the minigame choose area. Even after picking next minigames, the chat messages are still takes as math input and players revive constantly.

When we started the weight room, 5 people desynced.

Slippery Floor, Ice Sliding and some other minigames don't allow for spectating after death. You should grant vision of allied players after death.

-This is an error in the triggers. I forgot to turn them off after the mini game. I will do an hotfix.

-This one is odd. Is it the mini game when you put metal crates in the grinder in the middle ?

I will grant vision of all players who are still alive, when you fail a mini game. So you can see what is going on.

Did you notice any other bugs or have ideas on the map?

So far no other bugs, players mentioned they liked the lasers and mirrors minigame and the switching red-blue labyrinth the most. We played free arcade with 11 people.

No, even before hitting the TV or during that moment, after spawning in that room.
