[save] Generating map script duration/optimization?

Hey, maybe it's just me being blind: I didn't find a dedicated thread.
Since the latest patch, saving map takes forever for me, stuck at generating map script. Somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes. I don't have that many triggers at the moment: +-1000, but I fear that over time I might face even longer delays.
Prior to the patch it took me like a couple of seconds to save my map.

It doesn't seem like that much of a trouble at first glance, but I'm really bad at coding and do learn through trial and error, saving progress all the time. In the end, this new way of saving map consumes so much time, it becomes super irritating.

Would any1 know by any chance anything about the new save file optimization?

Thank you for your time. I'm sure this question might be useful for some other ppl like myself struggling with the same issue.

Saving to cloud increases the time, obviously.
Saving to the secondary HDD is faster than to the primary SSD (why?).
