You use War 3 model editor, right? Then just open Window -> model editor. Drag select the whole model. Go to Tranformations -> Rotation. Rotate it around the axis you need. It is easier to select degrees from the angle box, set it to 90. If you rotate around a wrong axis, you can canel the rotation by rotating the model again, this time by 270.
edit: in the model editor it shows the rotation i want, but in world edit its the still the (old) wrong direction
edit: edit: after restarting we and reloading map it worked xD
another question: do you can add an simple animation to the model? only that it floats a bit up<->down while the stand animation?
The model needs some bones attached to different parts, fins, body, tail, etc. Otherwise, it will look like a static thing floating up and down. You can add bones in MdlVis, and animate the model there. Also you can use Milkshape.
there is one bone, and yes an static floating would be enough, i really don't know anything about modeling or animating and don't have enough time to learn it, thats why i asked here, there is no need for special animations or somehting..
