Rotating custom models

I have download a few furniture models and i wanna place some beds in my maps. But the bed models have only one type and can't be rotated, so is there another way to rotate the beds so that i can place them with the pillow in the direction i want ?

When you have selected the placed doodad, press and hold Ctrl and move your mouse.

That doesn't work, but maybe when i change the doodad type ? Which doodad type would you suggest ?

I always base my doodads on the shrub in the category Environment.
