Ok i love the risk maps and there relly good, but iam getting tired of it now, its the exact same thing over and over, basicly its getting boring...
Ive been trying too get better at triggering and stuff and decided too make a new version of risk, "Risk: Advanced" (Name can be changed hehe)
Basicly instead of the old boring train 3 marines take this castle, wait 60 secs train more take the country, it will have new stuff inside it. I wana make it so theres a more variety of buildings.
Some ideas:
Gold mines: After capturing this building you will gain a boost in your gold, Not a big boost but enough too help. It will have no defences so its very vunrable.
Missle Silos: After capturing these you can learn the research too be able too fire rockets, once you have learnt it you can send rockets accross the map (not very far, for balencing issues ) But too beable too do this you need wood.
Forest: After capturing these your lumber income will come in nice and steadly, After collecting a certain amount of lumber you can start building a rocket and send it off too a distant friend ^^
It will be more simple than the current maps out, instead of LOAD's of units there will be a couple nice and simple ones.
There will be ships and stuff but there will only be offesive ships which can only attack other boats too defend your troops being transported too a distant land.
There will be NO cheats, or nerfed units at all. ( I have seen some maps like this >.<)
The only thing iam going too have a problem with is balencing, I have no idea on how too balence stuff, so iam looking for someone who can help me here?
I am also looking for a terrainer who can make a niec and simple map off the world so it can go with the other maps, Someone who is willing too spend time on the map too make it look like the world! (As in if you look at it and you compare it too an atlas it will look similar. (The map doesnt have too be exacty but must have detail and the major stuff ))
Also i might need some help with triggers, not many cause iam doing the map too learn more about them, but possibly someone with a good knowlage of them who can sit in the background who i can ask for help with. (Will be included in the credits off course ^^)
So is anyone willing too help me? or has anyone got comments?
PS: Dont flame me, as i said this is only so i can get a better understanding of triggers.
