Interesting idea. I armor and your yellow areas just seem masterfully done.

no shading and highlights whatsoever and its really, really blurry

take a look at the shading and highlights the original skin has and then, after you add that, we can talk moar ...And certainly fix the blurr.

- the color of the face, the ears and the arms doesn't match.
- the face and beard looks like a CnP to me.
- But I think it's not just the face. 'coz different parts of the skin doesn't match each other.

Needs some serious shadings and highlights. Use sharpen filter to get rid of the blurriness. Btw, that's not a fel human, it's a fel dwarf.
