It won't be a work in the park anymore when you get to more advanced topics like Complex Matrix, Differential Equations, Transforms, etc.
The hard part in those topics are learning the concept and getting an insight on what is really happening. Remember, just because you know 1+1 = 2 doesn't mean you know why 1+1 = 2

You are speaking to a guy who's taking an advanced level of Math. I'm taking some complicated concepts that need practice to be fully understood but basically they are easy.
The example you gave me makes me giggle a little. Why should I know why 1+1=2? If it does, there's no need to waste time thinking about it otherwise I can rehash some similar questions I asked before or even ask new ones but it would be a waste of time and, in the end, you learn nothing useful.

That 1+1 = 2 was the simplest example I can think of.
I think that's the fun part in math, having the intuition on the concept rather than just knowing derivative of x^2 = 2x without knowing that it was taken from the limit of the slope as delta x approaches zero
