Retarded email notification emails?

Today i was checking my email, and i got a few from GF's pandaren thread, almost 6 months old.

Is this a one time thing, or a glitch?

Might have been, just make sure that you turn that notification option off in your profile.

To do this go to User CP and it will be one of the catorgeies of options you can select.

I know how to disable it, i was just wondering if there was any specific reason i got this email 6 months after the person posted..?

The strangest thing about this is that i can't find this post in the thread. I thought maybe it was just some kind of necroposting, but it is not.
Very strange.
But yeah, sometimes I also have the feeling that some mails arrive with a little delay.
In this case the delay time might have just been huge

And this is what I see.

Dr. Super Good told it was a bug, changing view to 50 per page would help ( to be honest I don't know where to change D:, so i couldn't test that) but this bug itself might be worth a thread in bug forum, too, i think!


EDIT: Nevermind, I found out how to change it, i did and tested again and i still can't find the post the email is about!

Interesting. I think this is another one of those scenarios where a global ignored user posts in a thread so the thread thinks there are more pages to display but posts by global ignored users are not shown.

If you set the forum to display 50 posts per page then you can see the latest posts on that thread.
