I was wondering if it's allowed to make a thread where people can upload -Grendel's models?
His work is really good and I think there's some people who have nearly all of his models downloaded.
I, for one, have some of his models on my computer and would be more than willing to share them here, if doing something like that is allowed (I don't wanna get shadowbanned lol).

So, if permission is granted, I will share the models that I have and I ask anyone who reads this to also share his models!

The fun part is the possibility of him getting berserk enough to check which maps are using his stuff and demand those resources taken out. One could wonder...
Lex retro non agit methinks.

People downloaded and used public resources and afaik -Grendel only required standard crediting. I chatted with -Grendel a bit before he deleted all of his resources and he seems to be cool and cooperative guy, so I doubt if he has anything against people using his stuff in their mod projects. I guess whoever has this stuff is free to use it, unless -Grendel appear and say otherwise. I don't recall it happening anywhere.

The only outcome of his actions will be uncertain status of his assets, that already ended up in "shadow pool" of community materials. In theory nobody but -Grendel is authorized to share this, but in reality, his stuff will be floating around, distributed via DMs, private Discord servers and other WC3 modding communities anyway. I do not encourage anybody to do so, but such is nature of modding communities.

Closed and files removed.

Do NOT share files from another author without their permission, especially after they removed them.
The Hive Workshop has made its policy in this regard quite clear in the past.
Yes, losing the files is a shame, I agree, but in the end it is the decision of the author who created them.
