I think we should close all threads older than say, a month so people can't revive old threads. Althought this would lessen the neg repping, which is quite fun, it would help stop that useless spam that seems to flow from the request section.

Well I semi agree with you. It is fun pwning noobs and having them neg repped, however, the users can usually let a post die on their own. Recently there has been a problem with this because noobs have been opening old threads and the wc3sear people started replying to old threads as well. It would be a waste of energy to lock all of those old threads that way, when you can just lock them if some noob tries to bring it up again...

yea

ask ralle if something like auto-lock can be implemented into vB code her on hive, sp request threads that have have no posts/posts are spam will be deleted after 15 days or 1 month... it's really annoying to have 50 request threads that says like this:

hi i like ff games, make me these models:
---
---
---
---
---
---
---
---
---
---
---
---
---
---
im gonna credit you

it's those rtd-s who request 15+ models, for map that's never gonna get released

yes, lock all the old thread, some dude revived a thread and people replied to that thread, then they started blaming me for things in the old thread that i posted ages ago, cause people thought it was recent, i think that was in the request section..
anyway, just neg rep and close any threads that show they havnt read the stickies.

I say just close 'em as they pop up, it'd really be more energy efficient. But if you guys want to spend a couple hours on it, go for it. :D
