OK if seen many people becoming tired of the fact that people request a model without knowing how much time it takes and hardly telling why they need it so I'm going to show those people how it should be done.

1: The Title you use for the thread should make clear what you want and to make people look at it type something like (+Rep for help)

2: Make sure you write down why you need the resource and why anyone should make it for you. Many of the resources asked here costs time and not many people would like to make you a something without knowing where it is going to be used for and if it is even Worth making it.

3: Give enough information about the project/map whatever you need the resource for also show some screen shots or a beta map

4: Make sure you give credits for its work when he has done it. Or at least give credits to the person who made the resource you want.

5: 'No requested resource can be uploaded without the author's permission or if it conflicts with its corresponding submission rules.'

6: If u want to edit/recolor please put the proof TOGETHER with ur request.

7: Thehiveworkshop can not guarantee that your request shall be for filled if this doesn't happen than plz don't make a new thread there is something named BUMP which you can do every 48 hours so that people can see your thread again. Please don't continue spamming what you need since most people will reject it and you probally will get -rep for it.

Hopefully i gave enough information about how to request something and i hope this is usefull.

Hehe, I wanted to make something myself a few minutes ago. Got to lazy though :p

Nice one :) I doubt much guys will read it, even when it gets stickied though.
But it's always worth a try :)

Oh and a tip: In some of the points you only mention models, I suggest changing it to something "overall" like resource or so, since it "fits" to every request, not only to models.

Also (for all posts imo) check what you have written twice before posting to avoid embarrasing spelling errors - like the headline of this thread. A good first impression will get you helped and respected. Tip: are you uncertain about a word use google and it's translator.

EDIT: i was thinking if like before someone make a thread in tis forum, there should be a pop out massage to ask if they have provide enough info for ppl to understand it ...
BUT its just an opinion ...

i checked my post if it had any mistakes conserning the bad grammer and i corrected all of them :p anyway i thought this thread would be usefull for people since a lot of people get tired of the fact they need to to tell people how to request somthing. Its kinda why i made this thread so that they dont have to tell all those people it.

How about a rule that is like:
'No requested resource can be uploaded without the author's permission or if it conflicts with its corresponding submission rules.'
I admit that its quite obvious, but some people just recolour or CnP icons and textures and the requesters may upload it with/out knowledge.
Anyway, good job with the thread. We should all be rebel like you! +rep.
